“It is true that you will grow over the years and your early work will not be as good as the ones you might reject now. But they will be judged with that in mind. They show a progression in your work and career. They reveal growth. Contrast that with artists who have good and poor artworks displayed side by side from the same point in their career. That is a different matter. That reveals inconsistency and an inability to self-critique. It reveals immaturity in their work.”- Keith Bond
I always wonder if my followers have any problem with nudity. I don’t think much of it because it is all in art and I take figure drawing classes, too.
i love nudity it’s so natural and pure and beautiful and i wish i could be nude all ze time

This tattoo is based on an illustration from The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. For those unfamiliar with the storyline, a compulsive giver (the tree) fatally bonds with a predatory taker (the young boy, who eventually grows to be the old man depicted in my tattoo). I changed the initials in the carving on the tree to those of my first love, a boy I cared deeply for who proceeded to take everything from me. It is a cautionary message that reminds me to be careful with and treasure myself, lest I have nothing left in the end. It is my first tattoo, and I love it so very much.
